We had a blast at the two Banana Republic shopping and styling events this weekend! Clients came to get styled and enjoy the BR Friends & Family discount - and they took full advantage. We shared styling tips on how to take looks from good to great, and then had some one-on-one time together selecting their perfect fall outfits.
I needed to be stylish yet comfortable - so I grabbed a neutral cardigan and one of Banana's new no-iron shirts to wear to one of the events.
I debated over wearing a blazer, but I knew I'd be running around and I'd take it off anyway. And a cardigan can work in the same way as a blazer - an easy "third piece" to complete an outfit and help you look more pulled together than just wearing a shirt and pants.
I love this brightly checked shirt. And it allows me to wear yellow - a color that I love, but have a hard time wearing close to my face. Read my previous post on wearing "tough colors" here.
A standout pair of shoes will always make you feel stylish. They raise the bar on a less-than-exciting outfit, and are the perfect finishing touch when you're decked out in your favorite duds!
