THE LOOK: Ghosts of blazers past

To conclude Summer Blazer Week, a quick look back of some of my blazer outfits from earlier this year.

This is the epitome of a summer blazer.  In a breatheable oxford-type fabric and summery color, this blazer coordinates famously with other blue separates.  I wore this to an important meeting, and I think it helped seal the deal!

Although not a traditional summer suit, this grey lightweight wool one is completely appropriate to San Francisco summer temperatures.  And paired with white bucks and a colorful striped tie, it makes an easy transition to warmer weather.

This cotton pique blazer is a great "basic".  The windowpane print takes it way beyond ordinary, but keeps it eminently wearable.

Stolen from the previous suit, this grey blazer functions just as well as a separate.  Colored jeans dress it down, perfect for a dinner date.
