Summer. Sunday. Shorts. Stripes. Sort of all work together, don't they?
Last Sunday we had some errands to run, and happened upon this park with a lake - so we decided to stop by and take some photos.
For some reason, it seems like there's more liberty to have fun with printed shorts than printed pants. You wear printed shorts like these striped ones, and people think they're fun and different. But I guarantee if I wore printed pants like these I'd get some stares - though it wouldn't be the first time.....
I do love a basic canvas sneaker, but it never hurts to have some more choices in your arsenal. These leather sneakers have dress shoe detailing, but with a sneaker "soul" (pun intended). They work with casual looks, but also do a great job of casual-izing dressier outfits (imagine them with dress pants, a button-down and cardigan).
