Do you ever intend to wear something specific, but then put it on and hate it - and end up throwing something together at the last minute that you love? Well, if it hasn't happened to you, it just happened to me. We were heading out to my friend's birthday dinner, and I planned to wear my grey blazer and new colored blue jeans, but the rest of the outfit evolved in moments as my partner was waiting to head out the door.
Layering shades of blue is something I do often (I love blue!), but adding purple amped it up.
I love this pocket square - it's actually a simple square, colorblocked in 4 shades of lavender/purple - so I can choose to show just one or two shades, or all four if I fold it right. And I also have it in a pink/red combo and a green combo - it's so useful!
I pulled the purple down to my feet with these plaid socks. I didn't want to bring too much attention to my feet with a jolt of jarring color, so these blended perfectly but still had personality.
