If you like cashmere, and you like great quality at a phenomenal price - then you have to check out The Cashmere Sale. The Cashmere Sale is a pop-up shop that only comes around once a year in Burlingame (and other locations throughout the country). I was there last weekend, and I'm loving what they're doing this year!
I have shopped The Cashmere Sale for a couple of years now, and they are evolving in a great way. Last year they had versatile basics and some truly unique and fun styles - but this year they've expanded their offering, and have such a variety of silhouettes that you'll be able to find something for you, the perfect gift, and then something else for you.
The true finds here are the styles for women, but they do have some solid choices for him. There are the expected basic v-necks and zip mock-neck sweaters - but they also have an incredible cashmere 'sweatshirt' in a waffle stitch. It's the sweater he'll grab for warmth, but that will look soooo much more elevated than a run-of-the-mill fleece pullover. And this year, they added a full zip hoodie that's an ever-versatile layer over a t-shirt or under a quilted vest.
For her, the styles run the gamut from simple ribbed v-necks and super-soft cashmere tanks, to short and long cardigans, to capes, turtlenecks and more. And if you're looking for a gift and you don't know her size - they have sumptuous scarves, robes and travel blankets - so you'll be sure to find something perfect.
They are only open now through December 10th in Burlingame (details here) - and I'd stop by sooner than later, since the inventory is limited and the best things sell out waaaay before December. And if you do stop by - tell them we sent you!
