THE LOOK: Blue crush

If I haven't said it before, I love blue.  With so many shades and it's ability to look good on everyone, it can be anyone's "go-to" color.  And it's so easy to base an entire outfit in blue, why wouldn't you wear it everyday?  Ok, so maybe not every single day.....

Another great thing about blue is that it works with so many other colors.  Blue and grey are a classic menswear pairing, but blue works just as well with other neutrals, and shines when it's with brights like a blazing yellow, saturated orange, or kelly green.

Yes, you can wear blue down to your feet.  I don't have many colored shoes, but I have a few pairs of blue.  It's a great alternative to black when brown won't work, and the darker navies can appear black anyway, making them just as versatile.

Checked blazer, blue french cuff shirt by Banana Republic.  Grey khakis by Dockers.  Belt, pocket square by J Crew.  Blue wingtips by Ferragamo.  Cufflinks by Frank Gehry, from the MOMA store.
