White jeans are, in my opinion, the most versatile item in a spring/summer wardrobe. They dress up, they dress down - heck, they could probably even dress sideways.....I actually wear them year round (see here with a navy turtleneck and black jacket).
The only thing you need to watch out for when wearing white jeans and a dark leather belt is the leather color rubbing off on the jeans. I have never had a major problem with this, but I always wash the white jeans after wearing, with some stain spray on any dark spots on the waistband. Works for me every time!
I was heading to church with my parents, and I needed something a little dressier than the colored bottoms and casual tops in my suitcase. So I grabbed a relatively subdued plaid button-down, and the cardigan and loafers I had worn on the plane ride over.
A great pair of loafers that is completely comfortable without socks is such a find. I only wish I had gotten the brown pair too.
Thanks again to dad (Paul Sr.) for all the spring break photos!
