My weekend uniform in spring is usually a chunky cardigan, t-shirt/button-down and jeans or khakis. In fall, the cardigan changes to wool, and the khakis become cords. So even though I like to sport a similar look, I change it up with a few distinctive pieces - one being this detailed cardigan that I affectionately refer to as my blanket sweater.
I call this my blanket sweater because of the stripe - it reminds me of an old wooly blanket that you'd find in a weekend home in New England. One that you'd wrap around yourself in the morning, and head out to the porch in your pajamas with a cup of tea. Not to say that I've done that, but it sure sounds good.....
These burgundy cords have become a cold-weather staple for me - just need to get some more colors! And I think desert boots are a definite requirement for any guy’s wardrobe - almost season-less and occasion-less, and if you find a good pair they just get better with age.
