Wow! I feel so fortunate to have found Paul! I had been thinking about hiring a stylist for quite a long time but never did anything about it.

I met Paul at an event, and knew that he was going to be perfect. We talked about what he does with the closet audit, understanding what his client's style goal is, figuring out what is in and missing from your closet and working together with the shopping to fill in the gaps. As well, he also puts together a look book after shopping, with so many options for outfits.

The process to do the steps was so much fun! It's always crazy to really go through your closet and get rid of items that are just filling space because you think you might wear "someday" or it may have a defect, it's sentimental or some bizarre reason we hang onto clothes. Many of the items still had tags. Oh the money I've wasted! Hopefully, never again.

Once we did the closet audit and understood what I needed, we met for shopping and try-on session. Paul arrived early and shopped for me. It was great to have 3 dressing rooms already prepped with clothes with my style and fit, ready to try on and decide. I went home that day with many new items and also items to order online. Thank goodness for Tall sizes online.

A couple weeks later, we met at my house to pull the clothes together and put outfits together. This was so enlightening to see the combinations, the colors and variety of styles together. This helped me feel confident in what is possible and has helped me in my daily outfit options.

I have used the look book he put together for me to bring up the ideas and used it for my "what am I going to wear today." Of course, with his blog, Instagram photos and follow up, I keep learning more from him with style, color and getting organized the night before, for your next day’s outfit. I am also very careful with any additional clothing items that I buy to really understand if this fits into my style, closet needs and the overall fit is great.

Paul is so great to have worked with as a stylist. He is organized, listens to your lifestyle and what you need and want. He makes the whole process really fun!

Paul Julch is a gem. He listens carefully to your goals and objectives, will 'audit' your closet if you'd like, will confer with you. Then, if you set up a shopping excursion, he'll get there well before you do to select clothes that meet your objectives. You arrive, meet up with Paul, try on the garments and voila, I know you'll have success.

As a 60th birthday present to myself, I decided to invest in a personal stylists and commit to at least 3 sessions in hopes of really gaining the confidence needed to dress myself with a put-together look and some sense of style. I chose Paul based on his reviews and it was the perfect choice for me. Not only does he "know his stuff" but he made the whole process comfortable and really wanted to find that look that represents me and my lifestyle.

I've hired someone in the past to do a closet clean-out but still found myself buying clothing that never got worn and staring at a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear. If you want real change, you need to go beyond the closet clean-out which is why I paid for two hours of Paul's time to search online and find potential items for my new wardrobe. He sent me pictures of complete outfits with all the online links for buying. Once I purchased a number of items, Paul came back and we chose the ones that worked and the ones to be returned. Paul took the clothes and made complete outfits and then created an online "Look Book" that I can always refer to. He also gave me a list of future goals (next steps) that could fill in any missing gaps or enhance my wardrobe even more.

I'm sad I was never willing to make this investment earlier in my life. To be able to open my closet and choose clothing just right for any occasion is not only a gift but eliminates a lot of time and stress. In the future, when I buy new clothing it will be clothing I know works for my body type and lifestyle and clothing that will actually be worn.

I'm forever grateful to Paul for really transforming my wardrobe while keeping it real and relevant to my life.

Paul is the best!!! He is professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I booked an appointment with him but I had to reschedule due to an international trip. I was in a rush to buy some pants for the trip, but I had no idea which brand to go to. I am petite and I also have stronger legs, normally it is very hard to find good pants for me. I asked Paul in email, and he gave me some suggestions. I went to the particular brand and bought 2 pants, they are comfortable and look great on me!!! I really appreciate Paul's help. Will definitely make another appointment once I am back from my trip. Paul can definitely help with the styling matters. I feel that with his help, it would actually save a lot of my time on shopping for the right clothes!!!

I recently experienced a very gratifying consultation with stylist Paul Julch from Urbanite | Suburbanite - it was definitely a worthwhile experience! As a middle-aged cancer survivor who for quite some time was only interested in comfort without much energy to shop, I was really ready to work on an updated look with a professional. I wished I hadn't waited so long to use my Christmas gift of a consultation with stylist, Paul. I put off the consultation because of unnecessary worries, thinking Paul might be too formal, and only interested in high fashion, expensive couture and worst of all.... I thought he would have to enter my over-stuffed closet! 

I was so delighted to find Paul was so approachable, made me feel very comfortable, and he wasn't judgmental on past clothing choices - he really zeroed in on what I needed and in a most pleasant demeanor.

He started off asking me a few questions to get an idea of what I liked and what were my session goals. I wanted to purge, get a more contemporary look, discover what styles worked best for my body, help me avoid looking frumpy, plus advise me on what and where to shop for the things I needed.

We then went to my closet - what a huge relief he didn't even have to go in my closet! (He brought a fold up clothes rack which was immensely helpful. I just pulled out groups of clothing one at a time). He would put them on the rack in a particular order and then we reviewed that group of clothes. He put the items that he thought were more suited to my shape and personality to one side and pointed out why, and then he was quick to point some articles of clothing that were either outdated or not a flattering cut or style for me - and off they went to the purge pile. We were able to cover a lot without me actually trying on clothes.  

The wonderful thing is, after all the good information he gave me during the hour consultation, within a week, he emailed a wonderful personal portfolio which included clothing photos to demonstrate examples of his recommendations, items to avoid, what I should keep an eye out for as far as brands and stores that will make shopping in the future a lot easier. Bonus: He also gave me a personal recommendation for a local alterations person.
